Twi’lek, sometimes called tail headed, was an omnivorous humanoid species. Their main features were distinctive coloured skin from person to person and growing tentacles from the head. In this article we will know about more Twi’lek Names.
These so-called brain tails, a susceptible part of the body, were an advanced part of their body mainly used for communication and other cognitive functions. Harm to their tails can mutilate their brain permanently.
Twi’leks had two genders: males and females. While most males have ears with lobes similar to humans, some have cone-shaped ears. Males tend to sharpen their blunt teeth to points as a symbol of strength. Twi’leks were the second most species in the Galaxy with backgrounds and history to support that.
Master of languages, Twi’lek learnt very alien languages fluently. However, they preferred their Ryl language for communication. Their head-tails, too, helped them talk in secrecy. Twi’lek names were quite odd. A few Twi’lek bred with humans to create hybrids like Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla. Alteration of their names’ letters to make them fit with their clan names was frequent. Resulting in a complete change of tone, pronunciation and meaning.

FAQS
How Do Twi’lek Names Work?
Their names combine their names and their clan names, or they even use non Twi’lek words. If a Twi’lek was imprisoned as a criminal, their name would be split into numerous segments as well, as this was regarded exceedingly dishonourable. However, the non-Twi’lek names were split into two parts when dealing with them.
What Is The Rarest Twi’lek Colour?
The rarest skin colour of Twi’lek was Red. This happened due to genetic mutation and evolution. The probability of having a red coloured Twi’lek was about 0.0001 per cent.
What Are Red Twi’leks Called?
The red Twi’lek, the rarest type, were called Lethan. The change in genetic code was the main reason for their birth. About one in a million was a Lethan. Some of the great Lethans were:
- Darth Atroxa
- Darth Talon
- Zhar Lestin
- Yadira Ban
Are There Male Twi’leks?
Yes, there are male Twi’leks. That’s why we mentioned them above. Males had ears with lobes resembling humans, while females had cone-shaped hearing devices. That was the main physical difference between them and can easily be distinguished through this.
Conclusion
The exotic and breath-taking beauty of Twi’lek ladies made them the prime reward. They were extensively used for trophies and amusements. Slavery was sort of a currency for Twi’lek people, and everyone had different thoughts on this matter.
Some saw it as a money maker and some saw it as a provider of a good and a prosperous environment for their offspring.
Many Twi’lek were not born in their homeland. Some left to explore the universe, make relations and commerce and colonise at other planets while others fled in search of refuge from their long, endless slavery. Since their structure of society was clan-based, there was no government, and the clan head led each city which made the absolute monarchy and now and then the prospects of civil war.
The ordinary Twi’lek public prefers to ride with tides rather than fight them in simpler terms. This made their decision-making and standing out qualities disappear. Their welcoming nature was very open to strangers and was soothing to hear. If you ever wondered what a real party and celebration are, you must see how Twi’lek celebrated. For Twi’lek, too, family and friends are everything.
